Basic computer: 

 A computer is an electronic device that processes, stores, and outputs data by executing programmed instructions, consisting of hardware (physical components) and software (operating system and applications). Key components include the CPU (brain), memory (RAM), storage (hard drive/SSD), and input/output devices like keyboards and monitors.

Hardware: Physical, tangible parts like the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and system unit.

Software: Instructions and programs that run on the hardware, such as Windows, macOS, or apps.

CPU (Central Processing Unit): The "brain" that performs calculations and logical operations.

Memory (RAM): Temporary, fast storage for active tasks.

Storage: Long-term, permanent storage for files (e.g., HDD, SSD). 

Basic Operations

Processing: The CPU manipulating data.

Desktop: Designed for a desk, laptop generally not portable.

Laptop: Portable computers group with integrated screen and keyboard.
